About

While we have over ten years of professional videography and webcasting experience, it was by happy accident that we brought this experience to weddings, when friends asked us to film and stream their ceremony online for the mother of the groom, who couldn’t be there for health reasons.

We know that every wedding has special guests who can’t attend in person and have made it our mission to provide your guests with an online, real-time experience of your ceremony.

We are new media professionals who are obsessed with high production quality, visual storytelling, and the power of using online tools to connect people to one another. Dan Winckler is a professional videographer, projection designer, and artist. He is the founder and principal of the Really Useful Media Company and holds an MS in Integrated Digital Media from Polytechnic University as well as a BS from the College of William and Mary. Emily Kornblut is a social technology consultant and educator; she oversees business and partnership development for Something New, and loves working with clients and their guests. She holds a BA from McGill University and an MA from Columbia University, both in international development.

We have over a decade of experience in live streaming media for special events, as well as academic, corporate, and cultural clients who have come to expect our dependable, transparent service and honest answers to their questions.
